This recipe is provided courtesy Appleton Estate, the oldest continually-operated rum distillery in Jamaica.

Ingredients

2 parts Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve Rum (LCBO #14354)

½ part fresh lime juice

½ part orange curacao

½ part orgeat (almond) syrup

PREPARATION AND GARNISH

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.

Shake until chilled and pour into a double old fashioned glass.

Garnish with one lime shell and fresh mint sprig. Enjoy!
